Funding Partners

Te Waka has several organisations to thank for supporting us and funding us so that we have the freedom to do the work we need to do, to make the change we seek in the region.

We receive funding from three categories of organisations – businesses, regional trusts, and local/central government.

In particular, we thank New Zealand Trade & Enterprise (NZTE) and Government agency, Callaghan Innovation, who have long supported the Business Growth Services team.

They’re joined by our local territorial authorities, most of whom have been involved in the Waikato Plan, and are now helping fund Te Waka. Their faith and financial support is crucial to the success of our new economic development agency.
